Trying to keep my head above water!

But I feel like I am sinking here. This is a typical summer... cram packing it with too much stuff!

We are getting ready to spend the week in Ludington. And I waited to do everything until the week after Maddie's birthday, which also happens to be the week before our vacation, but at the time it just sounded like I was going to have SOOO much time after the party. DJ has even been off work this whole week- so one would think I would be that much MORE ahead of schedule. But nope, those husbands somehow really make MORE work for us. Put all of this on top of me feeling SUPER tired the last few days, inspite of laying around a lot and not getting much accomplished AT ALL and you have a sinking pregnant lady. :( Not good.

We are getting ready for our Town's fireworks tonight. I know they will not be nearly as good as the Spree's fireworks, and NO WHERE near as good as the ones our vacation group will be putting off up in Ludington this Saturday. But, heaven for bid we sit at home and miss out on any kinda of fun... as small as it may be. :) Hence why I am sinking instead of swimming. But let's be honest, in years to come, I won't remember the stressful parts, just all the fun of it!

Did I mention that I am SOOO ready for this baby to be here!?! When I first got pregnant I was scared and didn't feel ready for another baby. Now, I can't wait. Maddie and I have been watching "Baby Story" and "Bringing Baby Home" and ahhhh! I can't wait to have a little sweet baby in my arms again. And that feeling of first bringing the baby home. It is so exciting! I love too that this time it will be Fall, which is my favorite time of year. So, laying on the couch and snuggling with a sweet baby is so much more appealing than it was in July of last year! ( we don't have air either). But the funny thing is, a while back when we were watching "A Baby Story" Maddie was watching the birthing part pretty intently. I remember thinking "Should she be watching this!?" lol. I think I did tell her that is how she came into this world- well kinda. But the thing that struck me is at the end of it all, when the baby finally came out and they laid him on his Mommy's belly, she pointed and said "Uhh" It was like she realized that that was the climax to the show. The whole point of all the screaming and grunting. Lol. The today, she was again intently watching the show. The only other shows she watches that intently is Einstein videos. I am kinda hoping that this means she is OK with the idea of a baby. When we left the room the baby started crying, and she was turning her head trying to see the TV from the other room. I told her that soon we would have a baby like that in our house making those noises. :)

Well not sure I will be on again until I get back. So you all have a great 4th of July and enjoy yourselves!

That is so sweet that she is watching A Baby Story like that. Hopefully that means she will be excited and not too jealous of the new baby. I have been watching both of those shows again and am now getting baby fever. Happy 4th!
