Labor Day Weekend

Hmm, not much has been going on in our life. Maddie and I have been takin' it easy and just hanging out at home. I have been taking some video, and if I can figure out how to get it onto my computer, I will post some of it on here. This weekend is Labor Day Weekend- the end of summer. This means that next summer my little baby will be running around outside, and it will be a whole new world for her to explore, and a whole new life for DJ and I. I can't wait.

Yesterday we went to Bass Pro Shop. Believe it or not it was Maddie's second time there. She helped Daddy pick out a new tackle box and some new lures. She was really a good girl. We were out there from 12:00-3:30. Oh, and I found a perfect camping chair for Maddie and I to share. It is a BPS Papasan seat. I think it would be great for curling up around the fire in. However, it was $60.00 and since DJ was spending a decent amount of moola, I didn't even think of getting it. Not to mention DJ would freak out because I had to buy a new camping chair for when I was pregnant, and now I also make him bring the one with the foot lounger, and the rocking chair (for Maddie of course). So he would have been like "Another Chair" hee hee. But, Maddies 3rd time to Bass Pro Shop may need to happen before our next camping trip. :)

Today, Daddy is fishing and Maddie and I are going to hang out- we may go do some shopping, not sure yet. Tomorrow we are grilling out at Grandma Pam's and Papa Don's. They have a new recipe for ribs. Last night we also went over to Grandma and Grandpas so Daddy could help get ready for the fishing trip. While we were there, Aunt Michele and Chelsea and Alex came over. It was so funny, they hadn't seen Maddie in a couple of weeks, so they were all over her. At one point she went to cry, and honestly Papa, Grandma, Michele, Chelsea and Alex all went "AWWWWW" Maddie stopped and looked around like "WHOA". DJ and I are like great she is going to hate coming home with us after all of this attention! Needless to say, it was a good thing as Maddie slept 8 and a half hours last night!!! That is right. Hence why Mom is not napping right now :). Her last bottle was 11:00 and she did not wake until 7:30. I was actually starting to get worried, even though I could see her breathing on the video monitor, and was thinking of going in to wake her, when she finally started to stir.

Okay, well I am off to think of things Maddie and I could do today.
